To our partners in the gospel, family and friends,

We made it home to Thailand about two weeks ago. Furlough in the States was a wonderful time of connecting with many of you!! ❤️ We also want to share with you all that through your help and generosity we are fully funded for Ethan’s Discipleship Training School as we have raised $6,000 USD for the school. Our family has adjusted back to the timezone well and now we are back in full-time ministry, especially focusing on preparing for the DTS this September.

In this newsletter we share lots of pictures from our time in the States and from the ministry of YWAM Trang as our team hosted a few more outreaches while we were away.

Time with Family and Supporters

We were Stateside for two and a half months, visiting family and supporters and sharing with the Church what God is doing in Thailand. We traveled to five locations: Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, California and Las Vegas. All these smiling faces below mean the world to us and they share in the sacrifices necessary for us to live and minister in Thailand. There are also many who we were not able to visit in person but who we dearly love and miss. We are beyond grateful for the many prayers prayed over us, encouragement and support given! In the midst of spending time with our people, Ethan and I also made it a priority to have set aside time with the Lord and each other, receiving the needed refreshment and rest that this time was also intended for. Our time overall was a great balance of time with loved ones, resting together and with God and ministry engagements with churches and supporters. We feel incredibly ready and excited for the next season as we continue in ministry!

What’s Next?

Right now we are shifting gears to prepare for the Discipleship Training School which begins this September. Currently we have eight students enrolled, four of which are Thai! There is much work to be done as we enter this last stretch before DTS is here like staff training and preparing teachings so this is our family’s main focus for the next few months. Our base facilility is now mostly furnished and our Media Team created an awesome video showcasing it. Click here to watch the YWAM Trang Base Tour.

Ethan has also begun regularly playing Pickleball at a local court that was just built during our visit to the States. He invites our YWAM Trang community as well as his Thai friends and we are praying for this to be the beginning of a discipleship community towards Thais in the future. We are continuing to intentionally love our neighbors and we ask for your prayers over these relationships. 🙏

Outreach Teams Recap

Over the past few months our team at YWAM Trang has remained hard at work continuing to host outreach teams. We are celebrating the leaps our team has made towards the purpose God has called us to in reaching the unreached. If you have seen YWAM Trang’s recent fundraising campaign to raise $20,000 USD for a ministry vehicle to use for transporting teams during outreach, we want to share with you that God has provided in a matter of just a few weeks! We are blown away by this incredible blessing and so expectant for the season of hosting teams to come, now with a vehicle equipped to transport them to and from ministry engagements throughout Trang.

We are so thankful to God for the support network He has brought around us to champion and equip us for the work He has for us here in Thailand. Truly our family has felt so encouraged by our time visiting many of you and we just want to reiterate our sincere love and gratitude for the hospitality and love shown to us while we were in the States. With that, we also want to say thank you for your continued prayers which till the soil here in Thailand and strengthen us for the task at hand. You all play an irreplaceable role in our lives and the purposes of God here among the Thai people. Thank you. ❤️
